Fancy Dress Fun for all!

Our theme, “Jobs I Wish I Had”, sparked endless creativity. In addition, chefs, builders, politicians, the armed forces, and bird watchers all made appearances. As a result, the event offered more than just rugby—it was also a vibrant celebration of imagination and humor.

Ten teams battled hard for the trophy, which this year was a bar tab. Meanwhile, the action remained close throughout the afternoon. Eventually, it came down to the Patisserie Chefs and a provincial New Zealand sports team. Meanwhile, politicians and chefs squared off for the wooden spoon, adding extra drama to the final games.

In the end, the provincial New Zealand sports team lifted the trophy. Consequently, the chefs, true to their culinary theme, walked away with the wooden spoon. Therefore, both results perfectly matched the playful tone of the tournament. Furthermore, the crowd enjoyed every moment, and energy stayed high long after the final whistle.

The tournament proved that rugby is about more than scores. Friendships grew, families laughed, and new players discovered a love for the game. In addition, the event reinforced the role Kilburn Cosmos RFC plays in building community connections across London. Moreover, it highlighted how inclusive sports can bring everyone together.
